Spot the Fake Kate

Okay guys, I have a confession. I have a little teency weency obsession with celebrities. Especially a celebrity spotting!

Now that I got that off my chest, it felt like Christmas had come seven months early and gave me a present wrapped up as Kate Middleton, the new Duchess of Cambridge! (which you should know unless you've been living under a rock this past month) Granted I didn't actually see the REAL Duchess but there is a clerk at court (where I spend the majority of my day, Mon- Fri) who looks just like her!!!

I was so excited about this Fake Kate that I've been counting down the days, secretly hoping to have to stand in the endless, and quite frankly stinky ass hallway.
A little part of me wished she would suddenly develop a British accent and invite me over for tea with William and Harry. Obviously I was hyping the experience up and today was the day! Safe to say I was a little disappointed when she was perfectly American but a little relieved when she told me I wasn't the only person who told her so!

Yes, I do realize its a little crazy but then again it doesn't stop me from going to the airport any chance I get in the hopes of seeing a celebrity doing a walk of shame to their terminal after a night of debauchery in our lovely Sin City. One can only hope!!

No Carbs!!

Good morning our lovely followers, the whole two of you! I would like to start off by saying that I am starving!

My daily cup of coffee or Java Monster, on a lazy day, is just not cutting it and I will tell you why!! AIMEE put our awesome selves on this not so awesome NO carb diet! Which of course means no energy enhancing food! And man, I need energy! It's of course not all bad, delicious salads and lettuce wraps all in the hopes of being bathing suit ready for my birthday, (WOOO! The big 2-1!) Oh and summer in general!

I am the kind of person where if I see a commercial of Taco Bells new double decker taco, I'm going to go out and get it (mostly just to say I've tried it but whatevvs) and this diet is putting a damper on my expanding food knowlegde. Then again, that's probably the whole reason were on this diet anyways cuz we're fatasses!
Too bad we can't just pull a Demi Lovato and just not eat (no hate either, she's a badass) but I speak for the both of us (Aimee and myself) when I say we just love food too damn much!  Oh the sacrafices we make! On that note I will leave you!

Get a Passport!

So yesterday i was at work, bored out of my damn mind when i had an epiphany! (you'll notice that those happen quite frequently with us) I want to go to Toronto! Really this all stemmed from the Royal Wedding. Don't worry ill break it down for you...

The Royal Wedding = amazingly awesome British people who are constantly drinking tea and crumpets = British Columbia has cafe's where you can enjoy the same custom = British Columbia is  Canada = Toronto is in Canada. Waa-laa!! There you have it. 


Anywho... On with the point... I (Nikki) obviously was so enthused by this idea, started Googling and as luck would have it found cheap plane tickets from Las Vegas to Toronto. 200 bucks one way, not too shabby. So i text Aimee "Yo hoe, lets go to Toronto! Three day weekend!" and you know what this woman tells me??? "MY PASSPORT EXPIRED!" 

Oye! Let me tell you, this started a ongoing discussion throughout the rest of the day! NOBODY seems to have passports!!! I just don't get it! I personally have had one since i was 17, it hasn't been used but i still have it ready and on stand by!! What if you commit a crime and suddenly need to disappear and guess what you have no passport? You're going to be stuck hiding out in your best friends basement while they bring you cold ass McDonald's! Where as, if you had a passport you could be enjoying a first class flight to Puerto Rico instead! Not that i'm supporting that but its just an example of how having a passport on stand by could come in handy. Anyways, i'm getting off point....


I want to travel! Toronto is only the beginning! GET A PASSPORT!!!! And yes, i am talking to every single one of you!!! and by chance you do have one and it is still valid, i salute you!!!
